Roller Items vs Roller Tool

The roller "item" is your upgrade level state — not a separate inventory sword like an RPG weapon. Speed Level 5 and Width Level 3 together define your roller item profile. Some UIs label them as distinct items (Speed Coil III, Wide Brush II); this page lists them that way for clarity.

Balancing Speed and Width Items

Speed Coil items raise animation rate; Wide Brush items raise coverage. Buying five speed items with zero width on a three-row board means you run along keys one at a time — miserable on mobile and slow on PC. The tier list marks that imbalance as D-tier behavior even if individual speed items are S-tier.

Endgame players eventually max both tracks. Mid-game players should keep levels within one tier of each other: Speed III with Wide II is healthy; Speed V with Wide I is not. Use lap timer tests — if running between rows takes longer than painting them, buy width next.

Prices in the tables below are representative; live servers may differ slightly after balance patches. Save until the next level costs under fifteen minutes of rolling at your current IPM. Roller items never go on sale historically — waiting for discounts rarely pays off unless events explicitly discount upgrades.
